I am good at making lists because I love doing lists. Anyway, I am not good at making wishlists, unless they are on Fashiolista or Pinterest, where I can add as many items as I want. Imagine how hard it whas for me having to stop myself at 12 precious clothing items. Initially, the plan was for a 10 pieces wishlist, but that would have been just plain sad to make. I still think my Winterland Wishlist did not come out the way it was supposed to and that is because there are a lot of beautiful things to choose from for this season. Tartan is back, feathers are in, pastels for fall, grunge and goth are reborn and white is forever there. Do you get what I am saying? If not, here comes...
Ain't Laurent without Yves! I was really mad and disappointed when they cut the Yves from Saint Laurent, so this sweater is perfect: for feeling disappointed with Hedi Slimane, for the nostalgic feeling you get when seeing past collections from the fashion house, in which grunge and darkness did not exist. Okay, this sweater kinda goes against my latter part, but still... What about Yves?
I am never late so I have no need to wear a watch. I never did. However, from some time now I have been hunting for the perfect one because my wrist and my classic side craved one. And this is the chosen one. *note the Harry Potter reference here because I may read the books again this winter, with a cup of hot cranberry tea*
3. Hermes scarf
Not a piece from a FW13 collection, but an atemporal one. It is a piece everybody knows about and everybody wants. I am no exception. I just have to find one and then my neck will be warm this winter. The good part? I will "recycle" it and wear it this summer too.
Warm, soft, oversized, Acne. Can you wish for something more? Apart from a Birkin bag, a pair of Louboutin's, Isabel Marant sneakers and... okay, okay, I am done.
Grey is en-vogue this season. I do not have many items in this colour and even though I am sick of the "50 Shades of Grey" reference, I think I will buy this coat if I find it in my Zara store.
No shorts skirts or knee-length skirts for this winter. The new skirt length is midi. Pair it with a pair of boots and the Acne sweater and you are good to go.
7. Celine box bag
Not really from this season, but this bag has gained a lot of popularity. Do I see it in the Top 10 Pieces from All The Time? Maybe. Too bad I do not know where to get one from.
Aviator jacket were a must-have three years ago, if I remeber right. Had not seen them as much this last seasons, but maybe they will make an appearence. This Persun Mall jacket will totally do: in my wardrobe.
With all my 8-year ballet practice, I am a total mess when it comes to walking on the frozen snow. Thanks a lot to my mom who said I need a pair of Dr. Martens'. Now all she has to do is give them to me for Christmas.
Since I have What about Yves in my wishlist, it would not have been fair to exclude Brian Lichtenberg and his funny approches to brand names. Well done, Brian!
11. Anna Sui tights
Saw them on Pinterest a week or so ago and literally fell in love with them. And then in a bg ocean of depression *drama quuen here* where I could not find then anywhere. They are sold-out everywhere, but I do not want to buy any other metallic lurex tights than this pair.
You've probably seen David Gandy's Goodnight. If not, you have to! Okay, gotta watch it one more time as I leave the link for you, guys! Done! What was I talking about? Oh, yeah, Bionda Castana. Bionda Castana boots. We need this! I say "we" because you never know when David Gandy is going to steal your shoes and you better be prepared. See, I am not selfish at all!
There you have it! (A part of) my wishlist for these fall and winter! What is yours?
